SEMI Pacific Northwest Chapter and Portland State University present: 

Wearable Electronics: Challenges and Opportunities”

Wearable devices have challenging requirements for power consumption, compactness, lightweight, low cost, high flexibility, ease-of-use, durability, and conformability. This technical forum will address and highlight recent advances, key challenges, current solutions, and future opportunities for wearable and flexible electronics. 

You'll hear discussions on an emerging category of diverse applications for wearables including:

  • Multi-function wearable devices
  • Smart garments and shoes
  • Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE) for automotive, educational and medical markets.
